A linear regression with Rstudio
In this part of the web, you will observe that I have created a linear regression with Rstudio:
As you can see in this image, with Rstudio I couldn't arrive to the final part of the linear regression because we didn't know how to continous it.
But we found a solution and it is to make it by hand with this formula:
Where:
- y= radius of the exoplanet;
- h= coefficient;
- x= mass of the exoplanet.
If we isolate x, we have got this: x=y^(1/h)
So, I am going to substitute the formula with my exoplanet data and here you have the results:
- x=12,69^(1/2,068)= 3,42 Earth mass
